Another case of AVASCULAR NECROSIS of femur head i.e. loss of blood supply and eventually bone death and joint destruction.
A rare and debilitating disease which most of the times has no cause (idiopathic) but the incidence has increased definitely after COVID 19.
This patient though presented late, i still tried to preserve the joint by doing a core decompression, removing the dead bone and inserting graft with bone marrow from the pelvis bone.
Hoping the head can be preserved.
