ACL tear is a common problem affecting our athletes and adequate and timely diagnosis and management is the key to success.
ACL REPAIR has been in recent discussions where the torn ACL is repaired which improves proprioception and gives better results. Though there has been reports showing good results, still the method is debatable as
1) it can be done in selected cases ( not in intersubstance tear) ,
2) the method of ACL RECONSTRUCTION has shown good results over the time.
Also recent techniques of internal bracing also has been debatable .
